Here is one of my favourite west coast rappers, Larry June, he the smoothest rapper out there and apart from his effortless gliding over the beats he has some of the best produced music in rap from both Cardo and The Alchemist.

Larry is HIM, every song he releases does numbers and what makes it even better is he is fully independent and his last album Life is Beautiful was album of the year, which is insane for an independent artist without needing a big label to push the album and bot farm. That album deserves a Grammy.

June also has an album releasing on 17th July 2026 and this is the first single off it, such a tune already. I recommend you go listen to him, hes unique and smashing up the game as an independent artist.

Its great to see an independent artist take over the game, such as Larry, who has talent, a die hard following, plus his own money so he can avoid a label and own all his masters and more, this is always good to see.
