As it's Amapiano Appreciation Week at DJ Rikstar HQ, I have picked 5 mixes I have been jamming to over the last week, so you can see what Amapiano is about and the musical journey it provides.

Groove Cartel Presents TxC - TxC

Here is one of South Africa's biggest DJ duos and also producers. Apart from touring the world as DJs, they also release songs which chart alongside the likes of Burna Boy and more.

TxC certainly have the Amapiano game on lock, so if anyone wants to hear the sounds of Amapiano, this is where I'd send them — any DJ set by TxC.

P.S. Their London festival set was out of this world, one of the best DJ sets I've seen and heard.

Amapiano Mix - Amanda Parr

I have 2 picks for Pick 2 — is this cheating? Maybe!! But you'll see why...

First, this mix is fire — anything by Amanda Parr is 🔥 as she manages to not only put on great DJ sets and mixes but match the aesthetics and the sunset vibe, as her and Mizzy G (Supa Vibes) are holding the whole of Koh Samui island and Thailand down.

So if you check out some of their DJ sets, the sunset and chill vibes are huge, as you can't get any more breathtaking scenery from the backgrounds to the locations they use in their sets.

This leads me to Pick 3, which is both DJ Mizzy G and Amanda Parr together part of (SUPA VIBES) — if you search SUPA VIBES you'll see them always together, bringing you the best sets, visuals, backdrops and vibes across the whole of Asia.
