Live Lounge Week 35 2026 - 9 Picks - Jorja Smith Live Special
Jorja Smith
This week I had to dedicate it to one of my best UK female artists, Jorja Smith (Mabel too). With Jorja Smith, she is a massive global artist and a household name in the UK, and I swear if you were to put her in any genre she would smash it, like I said about Alicia Keys a few weeks ago. These highly talented artists could be put back in time and be just as good singing in a blues group or the 90s soul bands, even in today's modern RnB and right across any UK garage tracks.
When it comes to soulful RnB, soul etc, you can count on Jorja to set the tone. There is not one voice like hers, which makes her a one on one and never replicated. Think MJ, in that you will only ever get one of them EVER.
So with that being said, best believe I'm dropping like 9 of her live lounges just so you can see real talent at work. As I was writing this I had a thought, if Jorja Smith and Alicia Keys did a track together I'd probably lose my shit, then I find out they have collabed but only on a live song, which is the last pick I added.
So I still hope both Jorja Smith and Alicia Keys do a track together, as one can't simply live a life fulfilled without a track they have out.
