Best Latin House Mixes and Playlists to Listen To
2026-11-03
The best latin house mixes are on YouTube, where DJ Mag Live Sets and Boiler Room post full club and festival sets, followed by curated Spotify playlists and 24/7 latin house radio streams. Mixes are the fastest way into the genre because a DJ has already picked and sequenced the best tracks for you.
A good latin house mix also teaches you how the genre works on a dance floor: where the percussion builds, when the vocals hit, and how the energy rises. If you want sets from every genre, start with our guide to [the best DJ mixes across every genre](/blog/best-dj-mixes-to-listen-to). This post sticks to latin house only.
I'm DJ Rikstar. Latin house is one of the genres I keep coming back to in my own mixes, and I listen to other DJs' latin house sets all the time. It's where I find tracks I've missed and pick up ideas for how to shape a set.
Where to Find the Best Latin House Mixes
Latin house is spread across a few platforms, and each one does a different job. Here's how I'd use them.
YouTube
YouTube is the main home for latin house mixes. You get full-length club and festival sets with video, so you can watch how the DJ works the crowd as well as hear the music. It's also where most DJs upload first.
SoundCloud
SoundCloud is good for audio-only sets and for DJs who don't put much on video. HUGEL, the biggest name in modern latin house, has his own SoundCloud, and party-mix channels like bavikon post there too. It's handy when you want a mix running in the background.
Streaming playlists
Spotify and other streaming apps don't give you mixed sets, but they give you the tracks. A strong latin house playlist is the best way to save songs you hear in a mix and build your own library.
Radio and streams
Latin house radio is a smaller corner, but a few 24/7 stations play nothing else. They're useful when you want the genre on with zero effort.
Best Latin House Mixes on YouTube
YouTube suits latin house because the genre lives in long sets. The drums and congas need time to roll, and a 90-minute recording lets you hear a full arc from warm-up to peak. If you search "latin house mix youtube," these are the places worth following.
DJ Mag Live Sets
DJ Mag runs a Live Sets series on its YouTube channel, and it has a dedicated latin house tag. Highlights include a HUGEL latin house set recorded live at UNTOLD Festival and a MËSTIZA set mixing latin house with melodic techno, recorded live from KOKO Electronic.
These are high-quality recordings of big-name DJs, so they're a great benchmark for what the genre sounds like at the top level.
HUGEL
If you only follow one latin house DJ, make it HUGEL. The French DJ is widely credited with kicking off the modern latin house wave with his track "Morenita." He's ranked No. 48 in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs for 2026, which lists his style simply as latin house.
He also ran a weekly Make The Girls Dance residency at Hï Ibiza through the 2026 summer season, so his recent sets are full of current club tracks. Look for his festival and residency recordings across YouTube and SoundCloud. For more names to follow, see my guide to the [best latin house DJs](/blog/best-latin-house-djs).
Boiler Room
Boiler Room has filmed plenty of Latin-leaning sets, though many sit closer to Latin club, dembow, or global bass than to straight latin house. Two worth watching: Louie Vega's Boiler Room NYC set, which leans on soulful, Latin-infused house, and Nickodemus's Boiler Room New York set, which mixes latin house with afrobeat and organic grooves.
Louie Vega matters here because he's one half of Masters at Work and a big part of New York's Latin-flavored house history. His sets give you the older roots of the sound.
bavikon
bavikon runs one of Germany's biggest Latin music channels on YouTube and posts numbered latin house and Latin tech house mixes regularly. These lean toward party energy and EDM-style drops more than underground club sets.
Think of them as the latin house mixtape you put on for a party, not the set you study for track selection.
My own latin house mix
I'll add one of mine here, because it shows a side of latin house I love. My [Latin Afro House Mix 2026](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XkgiLfuz8ho) takes reggaeton and Latin hits and reworks them as afro house remixes.
You'll hear Bad Bunny, Don Omar, Ozuna, Rauw Alejandro, Rosalía, and more, all sitting on rolling percussion and tribal rhythms. It's built for parties, pre-drinks, and road trips.
Best Latin House Playlists on Streaming
Playlists don't replace mixes, but they're where you collect the tracks. Here are a few real Spotify playlists I'd start with:
Latin House 2026 by House Music With Love (HMWL): a big, regularly updated latin house playlist with a sunny, percussion-heavy feel. Vibraza (2026 Latin House) by BOLO THE DJ: a tight latin house selection curated by a DJ. Latin Tech House 2026 by Groove Bassment: for the harder, rolling tech house side of the genre. LATIN HOUSE SELECTION 2026 by DBMAFIA RECORDINGS: latin house and Latin tech house picked by a label. Electro Heat by Spotify: Spotify's own editorial playlist for Latin electronic music. It's broader than latin house, but it's where the editors put a lot of the bigger Latin dance releases.
How to find a good latin house playlist yourself
Search "latin house" plus the current year, then check how recently the playlist was updated. A playlist that hasn't moved in a year will feel stale fast.
Open a few tracks before you follow. If the first five songs are reggaeton with no house beat, it's mislabeled. Also look at who curates it. DJs and labels usually do a better job than anonymous accounts.
Latin House Radio and Live Streams
Dedicated latin house radio is rare, but a couple of stations run the genre around the clock. HearMe.FM has a 24/7 Latin House channel out of London, covering latin house, tribal, and Afro-Latin grooves. Technolovers.fm, based in Cologne, runs its own nonstop Latin House channel too.
Both stream free in the browser or through radio apps like Streema.
For something more curated, NTS aired an episode of its show Dancing 2026 in September 2026 focused on old school latin house from San Juan, New York, Miami, and Rio. It's a great history lesson if you can find it in their archive.
Beyond that, I'd treat the YouTube sets above as your "live" option. A DJ Mag or Boiler Room recording is about as close to the real club as you'll get from home.
How to Use Latin House Mixes to Improve Your DJing
Listening to latin house mixes is one of the cheapest ways to get better as a DJ. Here's what I listen for.
Track selection
Notice which tracks the DJ opens with and which ones they save for the peak. In latin house, vocal tracks with a famous hook often land later in the set, once the crowd is warmed up. Pay attention to how a DJ moves between Spanish vocal tracks and more instrumental, percussion-led ones.
If you're still working out [what music a DJ should play](/blog/what-music-should-a-dj-play), copying the shape of a good set is a smart shortcut.
Transitions
Latin house is busy with percussion, so sloppy blends get messy quickly. Listen for how DJs swap the low end and line up the congas and shakers so the rhythms don't clash.
Long, slow blends are common because the grooves are made to lock together. If you want to practice this, read our guide on [how DJs blend tracks smoothly](/blog/dj-transitions-how-to-blend-tracks-smoothly).
Energy across the set
The best latin house DJs don't go full power from minute one. They build with groove and percussion, add bigger vocals as the room fills, then hit the crowd with the tracks everyone knows.
Try mapping a set on paper: mark where it lifts and where it breathes. You'll start to see a pattern you can use in your own mixes.
New to Latin House? Start With These Kinds of Mixes
If you're new to the genre, start with a big festival set. HUGEL's DJ Mag Live Sets recording is a good first pick because it's packed with the tracks that defined the modern sound.
Next, try a party-style mix with remixes of reggaeton and Latin pop hits. Hearing songs you already know turned into house is the quickest way to "get" what the genre is doing.
Once you're hooked, go back to the roots with a Louie Vega set to hear where the Latin flavor in house came from. Then check out [the best latin house songs](/blog/best-latin-house-songs) to build your own list, or read our full guide on [what latin house music is](/blog/what-is-latin-house-music) for the history and sound.

Latin House Mixes FAQ
Where can I listen to latin house mixes for free? YouTube is the best free option, with full sets from DJ Mag Live Sets, Boiler Room, and individual DJs. SoundCloud and free Spotify accounts also work, and 24/7 latin house radio streams like HearMe.FM and Technolovers.fm cost nothing to play.
What is the best YouTube channel for latin house? There's no single winner. DJ Mag's Live Sets are the strongest for big-name club and festival latin house, Boiler Room is great for the wider Latin club sound, and following DJs like HUGEL gets you sets straight from the source.
How long are latin house mixes usually? Most latin house mixes on YouTube run somewhere between 45 minutes and two hours. Festival and club recordings tend to sit around an hour or more, while party-style mixes can be shorter.
How do I find the tracks in a latin house mix? Check the video description first, since many DJs post a tracklist. If there isn't one, read the comments, use Shazam on the parts you like, or search the set on 1001Tracklists.
Are latin house mixes good for parties? Yes. Latin house pairs a steady house beat with Latin percussion and Spanish vocals people already know, so it works for pre-drinks, backyard parties, and packed dance floors.
